The Netherlands do have a new policy for immigration
that will be based upon national interests first.

There will be a new ranking system to allow high level knowledge and labour migrants in.
Temporary immigration, f.i. seasen labourers, expats and au pairs, will be easier but maximized to one year. In stead of present 29 allowances there will be five categories for immigration. Aim is to combine existing allowance policy with greater selectivity. The new policy will see to it that admittants do meet with necessity restrictions due to existing needs in the Dutch (working) society.
